A section of leaders drawn from Kisii County has now endorsed former CIC Chairperson Charles Nyachae to replace Director of Public Prosecution Keriako Tobiko who recently resigned to join President Uhuru's Cabinet.
According to the leaders Nyachae has the needed experience and will serve as neutral and there is a need for President Uhuru to consider him as the next DPP as he fought to ensure that Jubilee Government gets into office.
Led by former Bonchari Member of Parliament Zebedeo Opore the Jubilee allied leaders said that they will appreciate if Nyachae takes over the post as he has proved in the past to have been a perfect law implementer when he worked as the CIC Chairperson.
"We as Jubilee supporters and elected leaders from Gusii region endorse Charles Nyachae to the post of the DPP of which we are sure he will be able to deliver to Kenyans and we would like President Uhuru Kenyatta to work towards seeing him in office," said Opore
Uhuru has already appointed an eight-member committee that will lead in coming up with the suitable member to fill the vacant post.
