Speaking over the weekend at a fundraiser event at Musa Nyandusi Getacho mixed secondary School in Nyaribari Masaba constituency, Nyachae said that all the persons named in the Anti-graft body report that was handed over to president, should have resigned to give a leeway for investigations.

“Every individual in the EACC report must take personal responsibility. No one either, can be spared in the fight against corruption. If there are some MPs and other elected leaders who are also in the report, they should step aside and pave way for investigations,” said Nyachae.

On the other hand, the CIC chair vowed to keep on supporting education and other sectors, faulting his critics who are accusing him of undermining Kisii County Governor James Ongwae.

He however asked Kisii residents to embrace respect and be united, as he denied allegations from his opponents that he is criss-crossing the county holding pre-mature campaigns.

“I will not bow down to pressures from those against my agenda of giving back to the society. I will keep on supporting education because this is a resource that will drive improvement in; infrastructure, agriculture, health and other sectors. Therefore, I will continue to support whenever am required to,” he vowed.

“I ask our people to observe unity and respect because that is the only way we can propel our county to higher heights,” appealed Nyachae.

Nyachae, who was also the chief guest in the event, said he will not be itimidated in his quest for gubernatorial seat in the 2017 contest.

“Who said no one among us can lead the county? Whoever thinking so is misled and should be aware that 2017 will not be a downward contest,” he warned.

Also in the fundraiser ceremony was area parliamentary aspirant Advocate Ezekiel Oira, who accused the MP Elijah Moindi of being partial in CDF allocation to schools.

He also accused the subsequent leadership from time immemorial, to crawling development that the constituency is experiencing.

“The past leaders are a failure to our constituency and the current leadership has followed the meander. Some schools including Getacho secondary have been sidelined for a long time and even now its is not benefitting like other schools from the National CDF kitty, that is aimed at improving facilities in schools,” Oira noted.

“Of course I cannot deny that we are making significant strides in development in our constituency, but it is going at slow base because of poor leadership we have had,” he added.

Others who attended in event were politicians Ezekiel Machogu, Ocharo Kebira, Joel Gesuka, Musa Nyakeramba and Abel Sagini among others.
