According to Nyachae, Omogusii unity movement can’t force Ongwae to join the movement since every politician has a right to do what is interests him.

Addressing the press on Thursday Nyachae said Omogusii unity movement’s doors are open and anybody can join to move Kisii community forward.

“When we declared this unity for Omogusii at Otamba we invited Ongwae to attend but he refused and our option is that we can’t force him to join,” said Nyachae.

Nyachae said Omogusii unity is there to unite every Omogusii in all parts of the county and even outside the country.

Omogusii movement has been opposed by many of Kisii and Nyamira counties’ residents and politicians saying the members of the movement are tumbocrats who want to use Kisii name to benefit themselves.
