The Nyacheki by-election which is scheduled on 26 of this month will be a litmus test for Governor James Ongwae and his Deputy Governor Joash Maangi.
This comes after the Deputy Governor Joash Maangi who is the county ODM is organising secretary campaigned for Jubilee candidate as Governor Ongwae stood with ODM candidate.
On Thursday Ongwae visited the area where he urged residents to vote for ODM since their candidate can follow up the projects which were initiated by the former MCA.
This comes merely three days after the Deputy Governor Joash Maangi visited the area with Jubilee supporters where he campaigned for JP candidate.
Maangi currently works with 8 MPs and a number of MCAs who are aligned to Obomo bwo Omogusii.
Also, this election will reflect Jubilee party and ODM party of who has a greater say in Kisii politics.
