Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has assured residents and traders of Mosobeti market that the county government will make sure that the market resumes to its normal operations after some days of confusion about the market's construction.
Speaking at the market on Monday, Nyagarama said that construction of shades will begin as soon as possible since the traders do not have enough space to operate from.
The market's renovation was under threat after the matter raised issue about the hygienic status of the market, forcing the traders to find alternative markets which was costly.
The market now operates on Mondays and Wednesday of every week, with the traders now urging the Nyamira County government to ensure there is order and proper arrangement in order to accommodate all traders.
