Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has dismissed speculations that he is a Jubilee government sympathizer following accusations from a section of opposition supporters.
A number of youths allied to Orange Democratic Movement Party have questioned the Governor’s loyalty on several social media platforms even as Raila Odinga’s tour to the county nears.
Addressing Manga residents on Wednesday, Nyagarama insisted his commitment in the Orange Party adding that it would form government in 2017 polls.
“Kenyans know who will be forming government in 2017 and I must remind you that I am a committed member of the ODM party,” Nyagarama was quoted by Egesa FM.
“It’s wrong for people to profile me that I am in Jubilee yet I have worked with ODM party structures for all this time. I am not a Jubilee agent and those dragging my name are political enemies,” he added.
He urged Nyamira residents to adopt a six- piece voting system in 2017 as a method of denying the ruling Jubilee Party representation in both National and County Assemblies.
