Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama's was the biggest beneficiary during the homecoming of Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire on Sunday.
Nyagarama has been under pressure from Kitutu Masaba residents over his performance, but it was in the same constituency that Cord leader Raila Odinga introduced him as one of the hard working governors in the coalition.
"Your governor is hard working and his record is clean and need credit for that," said Odinga.
A youth representative in Nyamira County assembly Julius Mariita, said if Nyagarama remains the ODM flag bearer in the forthcoming general election, then the party will retain the seat with a landslide victory.
"Be assured, Nyagarama is bouncing back with many votes than the last election if he remains the ODM flag bearer," noted Mariita.
Nyagarama was recently heckled by youths at Kebirigo market during President Uhuru Kenyatta's visit to the county claiming he has not done anything worth addressing them.
