Nyamira Senator Kennedy has given Governor John Nyagarama four months to complete all county projects."I have given Governor John Nyagarama four months to complete all county projects which he has started and which also he has budgeted for," said Okong'o. The Senator issued the ultimatum on Sunday at Kenyenya health centre in Bonyamatuta ward, West Mogirango constituency where he made an impromptu visit.
Apparently, he found the hospital shut.
"I wonder how and why this facility has been shut down and yet it has been budgeted for, where does this money go? posed he. Mong'are has now urged the county boss to re-open the hospital immediately and also send two clinical officers and four nurses to help residents access services. He also added that closing an health center is denying people their basic rights which is against human rights act. The Senator also condemned the area MAC Robinson Mocheche accusing him of not doing his oversight role in the county assembly regardimg the state of the facility.
