Nyamira Deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has labelled his boss John Nyagarama a 'conman and betrayer' as the relationship between the two hits a new low.
The two Nyamira principals have been embroiled in a political tussle with Nyaribo reportedly claiming that Nyagarama rarely consults him in vital issues affecting the county.
Nyaribo is among over seven candidates who are set to wrestle with Nyagarama in August polls.
"For all these years, we have been allocating money for water but I have never known where the money goes.Recently we used Sh150m and our roads are in a good condition," He told his North Mugirango supporters.
Nyaribo added: "In the first and second budgets we allocated Sh360m and Sh400m respectively for roads but I don't know where the money went. There are still a lot that is allocated to county but no one knows what happened."
He claimed that Nyagarama had promised to go for only five years and support him in 2017.
"The old man has become a political conman and betrayer. When we sat here five years ago, he promised to go for only five years but he is not ready to honor that," he added.
