Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama has condoled Kisii County after the demise of its County Chief of Staff Joel Momanyi.
In his condolence message delivered on Saturday, the governor conveyed his sympathies to the members of the bereaved family and Kisii County at large.
He described Momanyi as an astute man, a true servant of the public and loved by many.
"I have this morning learnt with disbelief the untimely demise of Kisii County government Chief of Staff Joel Momanyi. He was a true servant of the people and was loved by many," Nyagarama said.
"On my behalf and that of the my people of Nyamira County, I send my condolences to the family, Governor James Ongwae and the people of Kisii for losing such an adorable person," he added.
Momanyi was reported dead after a short illness on Friday night at Karen Hospital, Nairobi.
