Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama on Wednesday afternoon officially launched the County Fiscal Strategic paper 2016/17 public participation endeavours where all County Executive Members presented performance deliverables for the past three years.
The performance deliverables were sourced from the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP).
Speaking at the launch, Nyagarama noted the significance of the event saying it characterizes a clear picture of the state of the county in matters development.
"This is an important event as it paints a clear picture of where we have come from and where we are headed," said the governor.
The county chief further indicated that the event would provide an opportunity to his government to serve the public better through improved and practical solutions in different sectors.
"Additionally, this event gives us an opportunity to serve you better by proposing practical solutions for sectoral projects," he added.
Nyagarama urged the public and stakeholders to take part in the county fiscal strategy paper for better services.
"In order to serve you better, I am encouraging the public and stakeholders to participate in the county fiscal strategy paper public participation programme to take place through the county starting today," he concluded.
The County Fiscal Strategy Paper is the guide to the county budgeting process. It looks at how the past and the present setting of the budget process can inform the future.
