Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has said he has never seen his deputy Amos Nyaribo to deliberate on county matters for seven months now.
Nyagarama was responding to remarks by his deputy that he doesn't consult him on crucial matters involving the county.
Early this week, Nyaribo poked holes in the recent reshuffle of county executives by his boss saying he wasn't consulted.
But on Wednesday during the opening of Nyamwetureko dispensary, Nyagarama said since Nyaribo declared his candidature for the county governorship 2017 six months ago, he has been looking for ways to taint his name during his personal forums.
"How many times have you seen the deputy in county public functions. When did you see him even during project inspection? " posed Nyagarama.
The governor told the public to ignore his deputy's claims and look at his track record and whatever he does, he does it for the better livelihood of the Nyamirans.
"Am working on delivering my mandate and I always do consultations where it's needed," added the county boss.
