The county government of Nyamira through the department of Health has opened its 14th dispensary in Nyangori village in Kitutu Masaba constituency.
Governor John Nyagarama who commissioned the dispensary said Nyangori becomes the 89th public health facility in the county, and encouraged residents to take advantage of it to access health services.
Nyagarama said his government has put a lot of money in the department in its effort to ensure residents are in good health.
"The much monies we have allocated to the Health ministry is to ensure our people are in good health for them to work and develop our county," said the county boss on Tuesday.
He further advised parents to ensure their children are immunised instead of waiting for door-to-door campaigns by health staff as has been the case.
"This area as been lacking a health facility and parents have been facing challenges especially during immunisation, now take advantage of it to ensues healthy children," added Nyagarama.
