Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has announced a new move of improving service delivery for the people of Nyamira.
Addressing mourners at a funeral in Magombo on Wednesday, Nyagarama said that his government will hold public forums in all the subcounties weekly to give the public a chance to interact with his executive members.
"To improve service delivery, my government has put measures to ensure that our people are not forced to come to Nyamira for inquiry on some issues and that is why every other Wednesday we will be holding public forums in all our five subcounties to help residents interact one on one with my government," Nyagarama said.
Nyagarama further urged locals to report any matters pertaining to public officers asking for bribes before giving services to the people.
"Transparency is key in my government, and if that happens that some public officers ask you for a bribe before serving you please report them to me so that action is taken," added Nyagarama.
