According to the constituency MP Joash Nyamoko, Nyagarama has neglected the people from the region even after he received several votes from the region during the last year’s polls.

“My constituents voted for the ODM party governor overwhelmingly during the last year’s polls but it is unfortunate that nobody from the region has benefited from the county especially when it comes to jobs. I am not going to keep quiet to leave my people to struggle in abject poverty under the leadership of Nyagarama,” he said.

The lawmaker said the fruits of devolution have not reached the constituency because Nyagarama has only given priority to his close allies, relatives.

“Every resident of Nyamira has a right to enjoy devolution governance but not only one region or two benefiting leaving the rest. It is time Nyagarama should move with speed to launch and initiate various development projects in North Mugirango to boost the lives of my constituents,” he said.
