Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has yet against reshuffled his cabinet with only seven months to elections.
The moves come amid calls to have Janet Komenda, who has declared interest in Women Representative seat, resign from her education docket.
In a Gazette notice dated December 29th 2016, Komenda was moved to Lands, Housing and Urban Development and replaced by outgoing Finance CeC Jones Omwanga.
Others affected in the changes includes Kepha Osoro who was moved from Transport to Finance, John Omanwa to Transport and Roads from Trade and Cooperatives who was replaced by Richard Mareri.
Nyagarama’s changes also comes amid strong opposition from a number of gubernatorial aspirants among them West Mugirango MP Dr. James Gesami.
Till going to press, no official communication had been made by the county government officials over the latest changes that were put in Kenyan Gazette Circular No. 2 of 2016.
