According to Nyagarama Raila's move to meet Uhuru and create a peace pact is historical and those criticizing it have no future in the Kenyan politics nor do they want peace and development agenda for Kenya.

Speaking at the homecoming celebration of Borabu Member of Parliament Ben Momanyi the Governor said all Gusii leaders support the move and anyone opposing it risks losing support from them.

"I have seen a lot of people asking what is beneath Raila's handshake with President Kenyatta and I would tell them that its peace we wanted and a nation and end of political heat that have been witnessed in the Country and those opposing his move should try to engage in other political fights but not in Raila, Uhuru peace pact" said Nyagarama

Nyagarama's sentiments come at a time there is heated political showdown in the NASA zone as other NASA principals have vowed not to work with Raila terming his move 'suicidal' as they were not consulted before he met Raila.

Raila on his side has however maintained that he is willing to work with President Uhuru despite the fact that other NASA principals are against it.
