Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama has urged lawyers in the county to educate residents about the Constitution.
Speaking during a public forum at Kebirigo on Friday, Nyagarama urged the 'learned friends' to educate residents about what the Constitution says.
"The lawyers in the county I urge you to educate our people in order for them to understand the roles for both county and national governments," urged the county boss.
The call comes evens as it became clear that some residents are not informed over the devolved road functions.
The county boss also added that his administration will continue informing the public about their rights and the purpose of devolution.
The Kisii community has two advocates who enlighten them about their rights on vernacular stations; Steve Mogaka on Egesa fm, and Dennis Anyoki on Minto fm.
