Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama insists that his track record on the execution of services to residents will earn him a second term as the county boss.
Nyagarama is facing fierce competition from West Mugirango MP James Gesami, Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Chair Walter Nyambati among other contestants.
On Wednesday during the signing of performance contracts at the county headquarters, Nyagarama yet again defended his track record insisting that Nyamira was among the top-performing counties.
“I have no doubt that I will be re-elected based on what we have done across the county. I have put money where it should be and I am happy that we are seeing fruits in all sectors,” he added.
“We have passable roads, ECDE classes, our youths have opportunities in terms of tenders and job opportunities and many other things. I am convinced that we are among the top performing counties in the country,” he said.
He urged his opponents to be logical when critiquing his regime and also challenged them to work together with his government to improve the livelihood of people.
