Students from Nyamira County have been challenged to be wary of terror suspects in their midst and ensure they volunteer information to schools' administrations for immediate action.

Nyamira Governor, John Nyagarama has asked students in all schools in the County to be vigilant to avert falling prey to terror suspects who infiltrate learning institutions through recruitment of students to threaten security in learning institutions.

Speaking at Rigoma Mixed Secondary school in the County, Nyagarama warned students against harbouring fellow students with suspicious characters and behavior instead report them to the administration for appropriate action to safeguard the institutions' security.

"I am challenging all students in learning institutions in this County to take their security seriously and in case they suspect any of their fellow students behaving suspiciously they sholud confidentially volunteer such information to their schools' administration for urgent action,"stated Nyagarama.

The Governor,observed that,security in learning institutions should be given top priority to ensure learners' security is assured as increasing cases of terror threats continue facing the country.
