The county boss’s warning comes days after Deputy Leader of Majority James Mating’a accused executives of being hell bent in implementation projects authorized by the assembly.

In his Madaraka Day address at Nyamaiya stadium, Nyagarama said he was keen to assess the performance of the CeC members and crack a whip where necessary.

“As your Governor, my main intent is to see progress at the ground. We all know the distinct roles of the assembly and the executives and it discourages when I hear that the executive committee members are derailing implementation of things that have been passed,” he said.

“I want to tell you that I have subjected you to a microscope and if you fail to deliver, I won’t hesitate to show you the exit door. MCAs represent people and as executive, we must work to ensure good service delivery to people. No one can sit in the office and frustrate implementation of things that can be done,” he added.

He also warned county officials against engaging in corruption related deals and vowed to remain focused din working with assembly to weed out corruption.

“It’s not just executive members; all county employees must do their work or quit office. I also want to warn you on engaging in corruption. The law will take its cause on people who may be mentioned in such outrageous activities,” Nyagarama said.
