On Wednesday, a number of social media users coined the term ‘mastua dance’ to identify the governor's new dance moves.

“I cannot go without congratulating the Governor for his new Mastua dancing moves. This is how apparently he wants to get closer to people after going missing in action for four years,” said Dennis Gekara in New Nyamira Facebook account.

“It’s nice to see the Mastua dancing moves because they make us see development closer home than before. Hope this is not a trick to hide his failure,” added Kevin Mochama.

However, some defended the Governor terming him a social person who was ready to mingle with his people to know their problems.

“I don’t see anything wrong when a Governor dances in the aim of mingling with people. He has been doing it for years even before he was elected,” said Ann Kemunto.

“We should focus on what he took to Ekerenyo rather than calling him names. He is a social person and hopefully people are not accusing him of being social,” added Charles Onkoba.

Nyagarama is not a stranger to controversy following his recent grammar breach during a public rally where he used the term ‘Monto Momoja’ instead of ‘mtu mmoja’ .

He has also been in the limelight after he referred to women's breast as KCC.
