National Assembly leaders have lamented over being cyber bullied by people they believe are after money.
However, blogger Cyprian Nyakundi has accused the MPs for 'cooking the story' so as to force their way with the cyber crime bill.
If passed, Nyakundi believes the bill will allow the Mps to loot and do evil in peace and has reiterated that those who will vote for the bill will be 'watched'.
"Disappointed in @JunetMohamed .Sad that Mpigs are cooking a story to force this cyber crime bill so they do their looting n evil in peace. We will be watching those that vote for it!" tweeted Nyakundi on Wednesday.
On Tuesday, National Assembly Majority Leader Aden Duale and Kiminini Mp Chris Wamalwa told parliament that they have been receiving nude photos from an unnamed lady.
According to the two legislators, the lady has made it hard for them to use their phones while around their colleagues or family members.
“There is a lady who has the phone numbers of all the MPs and keeps sending us nude photos,” reiterated Duale as quoted by the Nation.
Wamalwa further wants the issue to be brought to an end as it has led to the break-up of many families.
“This matter is serious, as it has broken many families and must be brought to an end,” remarked Wamalwa as quoted by the Nation.
The legislators are set to debate the Computer and Cyber Crimes Bill 2017 and if passed will define hefty penalties for anyone who misuses internet freedom.
