Speaking to journalists in Nyali Town on Saturday, the former investigative journalist said that he was shocked by the High court verdict on Friday.

Ali wondered how the Court could nullify Babu's victory when he had clearly emerged the winner in the recount of the votes.

"It was shocking to see the election of Babu Owino being nullified on grounds of widespread errors when he had openly won the seat by a huge margin," he said.

The former Investigative reporter, however, said that Babu will make a big political comeback.

" I am 100 percent sure that the former University of Nairobi student leader will make a comeback owing to his popularity among the Embakasi East constituents," he said.

High Court Judge John Sergon nullified Babu's victory citing widespread errors in the election process.

The Judge ordered for fresh parliamentary election.

The court slapped the youthful politician with Sh5 million fine as cost for the petition.

The nullification of Babu's victory continues to draw sharp reactions with a section of opposition leaders claiming that top Jubilee government officials had a hand in it.

The youthful politician has vowed to appeal the ruling.

He also says that he is not afraid of returning to the ballot and that he will win by a wider margin and even defeat President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto should they decide to contest
