Nyamira Jubilee governorship aspirant Walter Nyambati has assured his supporters of an inevitable victory in August elections.
The former Kitutu Masaba MP is set for a bruising battle with incumbent John Nyagarama, West Mugirango MP James Gesami and his predecessor Mwancha Okioma.
Speaking at Manga on Thursday, Nyambati said Jubilee party will deliver the seat given the goodwill of area residents.
“We have worked hard and I am sure that August will be our time to lead. It has been a difficult journey but certainly, things are working,” he said.
The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation chair added: “As a party, we shall ensure that the national manifesto is implemented at the local level.”
Deputy President William Rutto who was part o the visiting leaders urged locals to elect Jubilee leaders on August.
Viewed as an ODM stronghold, the shoddy party primaries could prove futile given that Gesami defected from the Orange party to run against Nyagarama, who is carrying the ODM ticket.
