Jubilee's chief campaigner Walter Nyambati has denied frustrating Nyamira governor John Nyagarama's leadership.
Nyambati, who lost to Nyamira in 2017 polls, has since appealed against the High Court judgment that validated Nyagarama's victory.
"Nyagarama should stop blaming me for his failed leadership. He claimed that he won the election fairly then he should perform to improve the lives of the people,” said Nyambati.
The former Kitutu Masaba further accused the ODM governor of allegedly embezzling funds meant for development.
“There is no development in Nyamira because the people of Nyamira elected a failure and a corrupt governor.
"Public funds meant for development have been misused and misappropriated under Nyagarama’s leadership and offenders have gone unpunished," he said.
He challenged MCAs affiliated to Jubilee party in the county to continue playing their oversight roles to save the county from losing money.
