Former Kitutu Masaba MP Walter Nyambati has denied claims that Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama is his enemy.
According to Nyambati, Nyagarama is a personal and a family friend only that they differ politically.
“There is no hatred between me and Nyagarama as some people think. Nyagarama is my friend only that when we are in politics we differ,” he said.
Nyambati said during this times of sorrow after the county boss lost his son, he will stand with the family to ensure the late Ndemo Nyagarama is given a decent sendoff.
“Nyamira County is mourning the death of a hero, Nyagarama’s son. I am also mourning and I wish to send my sincere condolences to the family of my friend Nyamira County Governor John Nyagarama,” he said.
Nyambati urged elected leaders in the county to embrace peace and unity during this cold time the county boss is mourning the death of his loved son.
Nyambati is a strong critic to Governor Nyagarama’s leadership given that he unsuccessfully vied for the governorship seat during the last year’s polls on a Jubilee party ticket.
