According to Nyambati, the plan will yield good fruits in Nyamira County politics since four politicians from the constituency have expressed interest in the top county seat hence the need to agree on who will carry the flag and be supported by the other three candidates.

“We are going to have only one gubernatorial candidate from the area to vie for the Nyamira gubernatorial seat come 2017 to win if our plans will work,” Nyambati told Kemera residents on Friday.

Apart from Nyambati,  other politicians from Kitutu Masaba constituency eyeing the governor's post include Charles Mochama, Omwancha Okioma and Evans Misati.

Nyambati said if all the four go for the same seat, it will give their rivals from other parts of the county an upper hand in the gubernatorial race.
