The Nyamira County assembly has shown its dissatisfaction by the way important inquiries from the assembly are being handled by the assembly.
Presenting their dissatisfaction during a seating in the house on Thursday, several members questioned the manner in which the county executive members were handling serious matters of the house.
According to the chairman of the public administration committee in the assembly who happens to be the MCA for Kemera ward said that the executive member in charge public administration Andrew Ombati had denied to give a report on the actual number of casual workers working in the county government.
"I am very much frustrated after having tried to seek crucial information from the executive member in charge of public administration on the number of casual Workers who are employed to work in this county but he didn't give me the information to help us prepare the 2016-2017 budget," said Mating'a.
On his part, Mang'a MCA Peter Maroro said the executive members of Nyamira County government are holding the county assembly at ransom for not providing important information whenever required to do so.
"I wonder that some departmental heads are expecting us to prepare a budget for various department whereas they have failed to give us the exact members of staff working in their department and i think they are taking us for a ride of which must stop," said Maroro.
