Speaking in Nyamira Town, they said they regretted they lost customers because they did not have a specific stage.

They also asked the county to prepare stickers for them, noting that they had had issues with the town council whereby their motorbikes were being confiscated for operating illegally.

“We don’t have a specific stage in the town and therefore we ask Governor John Nyagarama to give us a stage so that we can operate our business effectively,” Erick Mogaka, one of the Bodaboda operators appealed.

“The county government promised to prepare stickers for us but the pledge is taking too long for fulfillment. We ask it to fasten so that we can have the stickers to avoid locking horns with the council,” Edwin Onderi, another Bodaboda operator pleaded.

They also asked the county government to open up and murram interior roads, noting they have incurred huge expensed through accidents due to poor state of roads.

“We ask our governor to murram interior roads because they are impassable more especially during this season of rain,” Johnstone commonly known as ‘Baba yao’ who is also a motorist in Nyamira Town petitioned.
