Nyamira deputy Governor Amos Nyaribo has termed his boss Governor John Nyagarama as ‘incompetent and a liar’ following the differences between the two which have now taken a new twist.
On Wednesday, Nyagarama claimed that Nyaribo, has been missing in action for the last seven months since he declared his gubernatorial ambitions.
And in a quick rejoinder on Thursday, Nyaribo accused his boss of neglect and discrimination, and vowed to challenge any ‘negative’ decision made without being consulted.
“Sometimes I really get disappointed when a fellow who is incompetent and a liar goes around saying I have been missing in action. I am always in my office and it’s only that I am sidelined in critical decision making,” he said.
“However, that doesn’t mean that I remain making when negative decisions are made by enemies of progress in Nyamira. I cannot be intimidated because I am part of the government. All we want to see is accountability and transparency in management of county resources,” he said.
On Monday, Nyaribo dismissed reshuffling of county executives which he alleged was made by Governor Nyararama without being consulted.
