Nyamira Governor John Nyagarama’s recent Cabinet reshuffle has been ridiculed and criticised by his deputy Amos Nyaribo.
Speaking to journalists in his office on Tuesday, Nyaribo said that he was not consulted by his boss over the reshuffle.
"I was out of the county and I have come to learn that their was a reshuffle in the Cabinet yet I was not informed about the changes by the governor," said Nyaribo.
On Friday, Nyagarama made changes in his cabinet which affected several county ministers.
But Nyaribo has distanced himself from the reshuffle saying the governor failed to send home ministers whose integrity is in question and non-performing ones and getting a new team to help him deliver on his mandate.
"It's a big mistake to run the county as though its an individual's entity. The DG should also to be consulted if their is a need for a reshuffle," he added.
He however, said there was need for the reshuffle but added it was done in an awkward way.
