A Nyamira family has appealed for urged help from well-wishers towards medical bills of their daughter who is ailing from a cancerous tumour.
Dorca Nyaboke Ogeto of Ibara village says her daughter’s condition has been deteriorating despite seeking medical help from nearby health centres.
Ms. Judy Kwamboka 14, a class seven pupil at Ibara DOK, was forced to drop out of school mid last year due to abnormal growth on her face.
“She started developing the growth sometimes back in 2015 and it had grown so big. We have visited several health centres for help but no big change has been witnessed. We were referred to Kijabe Mission recently,” she told the reporter on Saturday.
“Our family cannot raise funds for her medical bills and we have completely lost hope. I am appealing to well-wishers to chip in and help us get out of this mess,” added Mrs. Ogeto.
Meanwhile, a spirited online campaign towards the help of the hailing kid has been spearheaded by Nyamira County First Lady Naomi Nyagarama, who has appealed to well-wishers to help restore happiness to the 14-yrs old pupil.
“Morning all. I am going to visit the sick girl this morning and anyone who wants to join me, kindly do so,” said Ms. Nyagarama in a post at Nyamira Politics whatsap group.
