Nyamira County gubernatorial aspirant Charles Mochama has said that if Mwancha Okioma drops his interest in the seat, the race against incumbent John Nyagarama will be quite easy.
Speaking to the reporter, Mochama insisted that the race is between Nyagarama, Okioma and him, adding that Nyambati and other candidates who may emerge thereafter are the automatic political projects of Nyagarama.
“If Okioma steps aside for me, it will be easy for me to defeat Nyagarama, but still the race is between the three of us, others are the political projects being used by the governor to divide our votes, and we are telling our people to avoid them totally,” Mochama said.
Mochama has also noted the need for the people of Nyamira to vote wisely to elect a capable leader who will turn Nyamira into a prosperous county
“Nyamira has a lot of resources and if we have a clever person to run it, we will be far not even Kisii will be near us. People should vote wisely not with influences of people with self interest,“ Mochama added.
