“This strike prompted most of the patients to be transferred to private hospitals by their relatives,” the Superintendent told the press in Nyamira town on Thursday.

“None of the patients has lost life in this county because of the strike, and we hope the situation to remains the same,” he added.

The county nurses have vowed not to go back to work until their grievances are addressed by the government.
