Kemera wards are in a panic mood after the discovery of a corpse dumped near Nyamira-Kisii highway this morning.
Eyewitnesses have confirmed that the body was discovered by a Bodaboda rider this morning around 6.AM, who later informed police from Kemera Township.
Eyewitnesses say they were frightened by the incident and that this showed how security had deteriorated since the executioners could even dump the body near a busy highway.
They asked the government to beef up security in the region in aim to combat related incidents besides urging police to apprehend the culprits.
Manga OCPD Kelvin Ndung’u has urged residents with crucial information to write statement in the nearby police post.
The deceased body was taken to Nyamira District hospital and is awaiting identification.
