Chama Cha Mashinani got a boost on Tuesday when it received about 100 politicians to its fold.
The politicians, some of them from Nyamira County, had defected from the newly launched Jubilee Party, ODM and Ford Kenya parties.
Party leader Bomet Governor Isaac Ruto who spoke when he received them further said CCM will not be forced to join Jubilee.
According to the Star, Mashinani party is ready to field candidates for the posts of governor, senator, MP, woman representative and MCA even in the Jubilee strongholds across the country.
Ruto who spoke at a hotel in Kericho town accused the Jubilee administration by employing delay tactics against the increase of county resources thereby "killing" devolution.
Apart from Nyamira, other counties included Homa Bay, Turkana, Narok, Kericho, Bomet and Nakuru.
