Nyagarama has been enduring torrid times lately when addressing public functions, with the most recent at Kebirigo market where he was heckled in the presence of President Uhuru Kenyatta.

This comes a day before most politicians converge at the Mr. Dominic Matoke’s place in Magombo ward for his burial.

Speaking to the reporter on Tuesday, Magombo MCA Ezra Mochiemo urged residents to respect the office of the governor and engage it in constructive things.

“I come from a school of thought where I believe every leader should be respected regardless of our perception towards him or her,” Mochiemo said ahead of his PAC trip to Dubai.

“The Governor like any other leader should always be accorded respect because it doesn’t cost people anything. He is the county boss and however much we disagree with him, he ought to be respected,” he said.

He urged the people of Kitutu Masaba, where Nyagarama is expected to attend the funeral of his deceased political adviser to lead by example by welcoming the county boss.

“The Governor may be unpopular among people especially from our Kitutu Masaba backyard, but it’s my appeal that we give him time to mourn with the family and share with us issues that he wants addressed. Let us welcome all politicians without necessarily Boeing them,” he added.

Nyagarama was reportedly booed on Saturday at Mochenwa region during a books award ceremony by angry residents who accused him of non-performance.
