Mong'are said the false reports are aimed at tarnishing his name, adding that investigations into the incident have started so that the author can substantiate his claims.

"It's very wrong for politicians to use our youth for their selfish gains," said Mong'are.

He said he respects the youth and by any means, he won't destroy their future by funding them to get to the streets to protest on matters that he can handle through many avenues.

"I don't speak through demonstrations or use youth, I have been condemning corruption in both Jubilee and Cord coalitions in equal measure and whoever is dragging my name into childish actions should stop," said the Senator.

Speaker Nyamoko has also denied the allegations.  The said demonstrations which were aimed at rooting out corrupt officials in the county failed to materialise.
