Speaking at Sironga sports ground when he donated football uniforms to Nyamira Starlets team, Mong'are said Omwansa has failed to assist talented youth in the county and wondered how the ministry's budget is utilised since there is no single youth activity he has ever initiated in the county.

"This is the same executive member who was implicated in corruption last year and was suspended. I wonder how he made his way back without being screened and now he's just pocketing everything while the employer watches," claimed Mong'are.

The Senator added that the Starlets team has being doing well through the funds he donates to them adding that several attempts to consult with the ministry for help have not borne any fruits.

"The team through their leaders have visited the minister several times and no help has been forthcoming," he added.

Mong'are has threatened to rally youth in the county to demonstrate before he forwards the matter to the Senate if Governor Nyagarama will not act within the 21-day notice.
