In a rare show of solidarity, hundreds of youths have taken over the burial of baby Emmanuel, whose cancer plight was once highlighted by the media.
Last Tuesday, curtain fell down for the famous 2-year-old boy, who bravely fought carcinogenic tumor on his left eye.
But with family resources so limited, the family decided to preserve his body at home, something which prompted well-wishers to chip in.
His body was transported to Gucha Hospital in Keroka, where he will be collected for burial on Thursday.
So far, over Sh40,000 had been collected by well-wishers, majority youths who took the case when it was first highlighted by the media in February.
By then, the youthful network had contributed over Sh200,000 and was subsequently admitted at Nairobi's Texas Cancer Center.
