Nyanchwa High school students cheated death on Saturday morning after the bus they were traveling on was involved in a grisly accident.

According to the police, the accident occurred around Borabu area in Nyamira County with around eleven students sustaining injuries.

"Nyanchwa High School bus was traveling to Mwongori secondary for a contest unfortunately they were involved in an accident after the bus rammed into another bus belonging to Nyamongo mixed Secondary school following a failed attempt to overtake it" said Davis Kipkorir 

A traffic police officer who was on the scene said the injured students were rushed to Nyamira Referral for advanced treatment.
