Nyangori market residents Gachuba Ward have been assured of clean water by Lake Victoria South Water Services Board (LVSWSB).
Addressing journalists in Nyang’ori market LVSWSB board CEO, Moses Agumba said this is an effort to encourage them to protect local River.
“We want to encourage residents to protect water sources since they are in their area. This will help them to own the project,” said Agumba.
He said the Board will seek for a way to ensure the communities around the river which supplies water to Keroka Town also benefit from the project as an appreciation for allowing the project to be established in the area.
"The source from where the water for Keroka Town Water Supply project will be pumped from is critical and the communities around this water source naturally must benefit from this project. This will encourage and motivate then to protect the water source against pollution and extinction," said Agumba.
