[Photo| Daily Nation]The Kenya National Union of Teachers (Knut) and Kenya Union of Post-Primary Education Teachers (Kuppet) have disagreed on a proposal to push the national examination following the current political stalemate.The Wilson Sossion led union asked government to postpone the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) and Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education examinations (KCSE) exams.According to Rachuonyo Knut executive secretary Eliud Ombori, some candidates in day schools might miss examinations if political mayhem erupts.However, the Homa Bay County Kuppet executive secretary, Stephen Yogo, insisted that the examinations should go on as planned.KCPE kicks off on Tuesday, October 31 while KCSE main exams are scheduled to run from November 6 to 30.
