[Photo|Ochieng Owili]Opposition leader Raila Odinga accompanied by his deputy Kalonzo Musyoka and NASA co-principles Wetangula and Mudavadi and a host of other NASA luminaries on Sunday graced the launch of the People's Assembly for western counties of Bungoma, Busia, Vihiga, Kakamega and Trans Nzoia at the Kakamega Golf hotel.The second launch of the People's Assembly after that of the Coast region will culminate to the National People's Assembly convention on January 30, this year.The Western region People's Assembly's resolution was that the dragons of electoral injustice and exclusivity in governance must be slayed.Further the Assembly was unanimous in the call for immediate swearing in of Raila and Kalonzo as the People's president and deputy.The occasion was also graced by delegations from visiting counties such as Siaya, Homa Bay and Kisumu which was headed by Kisumu Deputy Governor Dr Ochieng Owili standing in for Governor Prof. Anyang Nyong'o.
