A section of Nyanza MPs have vowed to have opposition leader Raila Odinga sworn as fifth president in August regardless of the outcome.
Odinga 72 will be taking on President Uhuru Kenyatta in August for the second time in as many months with his NASA team upbeat of a victory.
Led by Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo on Sunday, they accused IEBC of being partisan despite being required by law to be neutral.
“I want to remind Wafula Chabukati that we are not scared. He must be ready to swear Raila or we do it on our own,” she said.
“We have seen them appealing very strong decisions taken by the court. They even now want to print ballot papers yet there is a controversy. We shall take nothing less than victory,” said Peter Kaluma.
On her part, Homabay Women Representative Gladys Wanga warned that Kenyans will not accept rigged elections.
“We invest so much in elections yet some individuals are out to just derail the process. They must know that we are now cleverer than before. Victory must be given to people,” she said.
