According to the businessman, the region has suffered so much as a result of politics.

He also said that the handshake between Raila and Uhuru thought to be a boost now seems to be hitting a snag.

"We have suffered as a region for far too long and we felt that the handshake between the president and Rt. Honourable was the best thing for this country and this region. All now is being put into question and we are not happy as a people," said Hesbon.

According to the businessman, businesses that had started to pick up might be affected by the rising temperatures following the humiliation of Miguna Miguna and pushing of Raila at the JKIA.

"The businesses have really suffered and they were starting to pick up. That is going to be put under a lot of strain. As we speak now, Kondele is boiling up slowly, Ahero is not a place you would want to be right now and that is what we were trying to come out of," he said.

Speaking to a reporter of a local TV, KTN, he criticised the mistreatment of Miguna and the pushing of Raila at the airport.

He is trying to wonder why the government would not appeal in a court of law if it felt aggrieved.

"Miguna Miguna is a Kenyan by birth, not naturalisation, The courts have affirmed the same if the government felt that was wrong they had an avenue to appeal. So to treat him to that kind of facade and to see them pushing Raila, hey! What kind of a nation are we building? This region is hurting," lamented Hesbon.
