A section of professional drawn from Nyaribabri Chache have promised to mobilise the area residents to consider re-electing current area MP Richard Tong’i come 2017.
According to the professionals, the MP has been in power for less than three years but his working progress has been on the higher side compared to the past elected MPs and there was a need to re-elect him.
Led by Thomas Ondabu an accountant in one of the local companies the professionals said when they recently visited the MPs office he was able to enlighten them on his plans for the locals and how he will tackle unemployment in the area.
“We know that he is the best leader the area has ever had and there is a need for us to ensure that we campaign for him so that he can be our MP again in the next five years as from 2017,” he added.
Ondabu called upon other residents to ensure that they keenly look at his track record so that they can believe that he is the true leader in the region.
They were speaking at a Kisii hotel on Friday after meeting the MP at his office at Parliament buildings on Thursday.
