Speaking in a funeral function at Bong’onta in Masaba South District, Moindi said he will give loans through the Uwezo Fund program to those groups that have fulfilled the requisites in the five wards starting Monday next week.

He advised those who will get the loans to use them wisely so that they can improve their lives and be self-reliant.

The MP also noted other key development areas he has identified to work on before the next election.

“I ask my opponents to support me in my strides towards improving our constituency instead of undermining and criticising me. We must work together if we want to realise development in our constituency,” he said.

The centres where the funds will be given are; Masimba in Masimba ward, Gesabakwa tea buying centre in Ichuni ward, Mogonga in Gesusu ward, Ibacho in Kiamokama ward and Getengereiri in Nyamasibi ward.

Former area MP Hezron Manduku supported Moindi’s remarks by asking his rivals to desist from dirty politics since time for that has not come.
