The two county bosses have been having a hot and cold relationship with Nyagarama at some point describing his deputy as ‘missing action big boy’.

In a letter seen by this reporter, the Deputy Governor demanded to know why the board increased employment vacancies that were announced in June from 20 to a whopping 44 without the approval of the Cabinet.

“I have received complaints from the public as follows: as per the advertisement on the county’s website on June, only twenty (20) slots were up for grabs but you went ahead to recruit forty-four (44) people. These extra positions were not approved by the Cabinet and are therefore illegal,” reads the letter in part.

“The employment did not observe regional balance. In other wards, one sub-county has fourteen (14) slots while the rest have an average of eight. All directors and deputies are concentrated in two regions (North and West Mugirango),” added Nyaribo in the letter.

He also accused the CPSB of engaging in corruption, nepotism and clanism in its recruitment process and also poked holes on the quality of lucky applicants calling for the revocation of the appointees.
